Ms. Miller received her law degree in 1997. Upon graduation, she was a judicial clerk at the Mississippi Court of Appeals. Ms. Miller then joined the Hinds County District Attorney‵s Office as an assistant district attorney handling the prosecution of sex crimes, child abuse, and domestic violence. In August 2001, Ms. Miller joined the Mississippi Attorney General‵s Office in the Public Integrity Division as a special assistant attorney general handling the prosecution of vulnerable adult cases statewide. In August 2006, she became the state's Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor assisting law enforcement, prosecutors, and judges in all impaired driving issues. Ms. Miller is an instructor for the Basic Recruit Class and the MS Highway Safety Patrol Cadet Class at the Mississippi Law Enforcement Training Academy in Rankin County. She is also a speaker/instructor for the Mississippi Judicial College. In addition, she is a member of the Hinds County Bar Association, and has been on the Board of Directors for the Mississippi Prosecutor's Association. Ms. Miller is licensed to practice law in both Mississippi and Florida
